A highly ambitious and forward-thinking football coach & manager who has achieved an exceptional record of success in the game – including league and cup wins, club awards and personal accolades – while playing a pivotal role in raising the coaching, performance and player development standards at a number of male and female clubs across Spain, the USA, France and the United Kingdom.

Currently in charge of the Scotland national team, with whom he is aiming to qualify for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, Pedro is a multilingual leader with a passion for continually raising attainment levels, and applying expertise across the entire head coach’s remit. This includes international scouting and recruitment, long-term player development, high-quality coach education and off-field management, while striving to instil a winning mentality and culture of success.

Building on a strong business and academic foundation, including a Diploma in Football Management from Liverpool University, Pedro possesses the proven capacity to transform clubs at every level through effective leadership both on and off the pitch. He successfully built Rayo Vallecano into one of the best teams in Spain and was highly influential in establishing a vision for professionalism at Arsenal WFC – developing and integrating new departments, programmes and facilities.

Pedro subsequently made a splash at French side Bordeaux, for whom he secured the club’s first ever participation in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, prior to moving into national-team management with Scotland.
